There’s no shortage of window and door companies serving Clark Township. Here’s what separates us:

Clark Township was incorporated on March 23, 1864, and named for Abraham Clark — one of New Jersey’s five signers of the Declaration of Independence. Clark was not one of the Revolution’s wealthy founders. He was a farmer and part-time surveyor who provided free legal advice to those who could not afford representation, earning the title the ‘Poor Man’s Counselor.’
He signed the Declaration in 1776 knowing the personal cost was real — and it was. The British captured both of his sons during the Revolutionary War and held them on the prison ship Jersey, anchored in Wallabout Bay near Brooklyn. The Jersey’s conditions were so brutal that more American prisoners of war died on that vessel than died in all of the battles of the Revolutionary War combined. Clark refused to negotiate for his sons’ release by compromising his loyalty to the American cause. He served in the Continental Congress and later in the U.S. Congress after independence was secured, and died on September 15, 1794. The township that bears his name adopted the motto ‘Growth, Industry, History’ — and the history in that motto begins with Abraham Clark.
Today Clark Township is one of the most commuter-accessible communities in Union County. The Garden State Parkway runs through the township, with Exit 135 providing direct access to the Parkway’s connections to the Lincoln and Holland tunnels and points throughout New Jersey. Residents who prefer rail commuting make short drives to Westfield Station on the Raritan Valley Line or Rahway Station on the Northeast Corridor for NJ Transit service to Manhattan. Arthur L. Johnson High School and Carl H. Kumpf Middle School anchor a highly regarded local school district. Nomahegan Park, straddling the Clark-Cranford border, provides over 450 combined acres of green space accessible to Clark residents along with the park corridors of the Rahway River system.
With a median construction year of 1961, Clark’s housing stock is now 60+ years old and throughout the active replacement window age range. The quiet residential streets of Clark Township — lined with the Colonials, ranches, and established homes built primarily in the late 1950s and 1960s — represent exactly the sustained, owner-committed residential community where replacement windows make the most sense. We install Andersen replacement windows throughout all of Clark Township. Every window is a genuine Andersen product, backed by Andersen’s warranty.
