Drafty rooms in winter. Rooms that won’t cool down in summer. Windows that fog up, stick, rattle, or just look tired and dated. If any of that sounds familiar, you’re not alone — and it’s exactly why homeowners across Rahway call us.
We’re Rahway’s Andersen Certified Elite Contractor for replacement windows and door installation. That designation isn’t handed out freely — it represents the highest tier of Andersen certification available, earned through factory training, installation standards, and verified performance. We’ve installed over 20,000 Andersen windows and doors across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware, and we back every job with Andersen’s warranty plus our own installation guarantee. Most installations completed in 1–2 days. And if you find a lower price anywhere else? We’ll match it.
Here’s what matters most for Rahway homeowners — and what separates us:

Rahway was not always called Rahway. The city’s earliest European settlers gave it the name Spanktown — a name that appears in Revolutionary War military dispatches from January 5, 1777 through March 14, 1782, including the record of the Battle of Spanktown in January 1777, where rebel forces defeated British troops with approximately 100 British casualties.
The name ‘Rahwack,’ with several variant spellings, was traditionally ascribed to an Indigenous chief who dwelt in this vicinity, and by the 18th century the community had grown into four distinct sections: Upper Rahway, Bridge Town (Lower Rahway), Leesville, and Milton. The Merchants and Drovers Tavern at 1632 St. Georges Avenue — a Federal-style building with a taproom, two parlors, twelve bedrooms, and a kitchen wing with a working fireplace, listed on the National Register of Historic Places since November 21, 1978 — was the center of Rahway’s civic life through the stagecoach era. On April 23, 1789, George Washington stopped at the inn kept by Samuel Smith, received there by troops from Elizabethtown and Newark and entertained by the gentlemen of the town, on his way to New York City for his presidential inauguration. On April 9, 1804, Rahway Township itself was created at a town meeting held in that same building — the original township included all of present-day Rahway, all of present-day Clark, and a portion of what is now Westfield.
After the Revolution, Rahway was home to the first national mint to create a coin bearing the inscription ‘E pluribus unum.’ A U.S. Post Office was established here in 1791 — one of only six in the entire state of New Jersey. When the railroad was constructed through Rahway in 1835, the city became a direct link on the mass transportation route between New York City and Philadelphia, and its population grew rapidly as a result. An early visitor to Rahway left a description that still resonates: ‘The winding layout of Rahway gives it an outstanding appearance. It is rich in charming situations, with pretty and diversified gardens and small clean houses that have the double character of town and country houses.’
Since the late 1990s, Rahway has reinvented its downtown around arts, culture, and transit-oriented development. The Union County Performing Arts Center anchors a downtown that has attracted galleries, restaurants, and a diverse mix of homeowners and young professionals who commute to New York City on the NJ Transit Northeast Corridor from Rahway Station. Rahway has been designated a Tree City USA community since 1997 and achieved Sustainable Jersey Silver Level Certified status in 2016. With a median home value of $390,000 and 57% owner-occupancy, Rahway homeowners invest in properties that reflect the city’s character.
