Drafty rooms in winter. Rooms that won’t cool down in summer. Windows that fog up, stick, rattle, or just look tired and dated. If any of that sounds familiar, you’re not alone — and it’s exactly why homeowners across Elizabeth call us.
We’re Elizabeth’s Andersen Certified Elite Contractor for replacement windows and door installation. That designation isn’t handed out freely — it represents the highest tier of Andersen certification available, earned through factory training, installation standards, and verified performance. We’ve installed over 20,000 Andersen windows and doors across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware, and we back every job with Andersen’s warranty plus our own installation guarantee. Most installations completed in 1–2 days. And if you find a lower price anywhere else? We’ll match it. That’s our Price Match Guarantee.
Here’s what matters most for Elizabeth homeowners — and what separates us:

Elizabeth has been called a city of firsts, and the designation is earned. The Elizabethtown Associates purchased land from the Lenape on October 28, 1664, and by 1665 a settlement had taken shape along the banks of the Elizabeth River, named in honor of Lady Elizabeth Carteret — wife of Sir George Carteret, who had received all the land between the Hudson and Delaware Rivers as a gift from the Crown.
Under Governor Philip Carteret, Elizabethtown became New Jersey’s first capital, and the colony’s first legislature met here in 1668 — the first meeting of the New Jersey General Assembly. In 1746, the College of New Jersey was founded in Elizabeth — the institution that later moved to Princeton and became Princeton University. Alexander Hamilton spent part of his youth in Elizabeth, attending school here before moving on to King’s College in New York. George Washington passed through Elizabeth multiple times during the Revolution and set sail from Elizabethport for his presidential inauguration in New York in 1789.
Elizabeth is also documented as the site of the first shots fired after the Declaration of Independence was signed, and as the place where the first U.S. Navy submarine was produced. When the Singer Manufacturing Company opened its Elizabeth factory in 1873, the city became the leading center for sewing machine manufacturing in the world — a position it held until the plant closed in the early 1980s. The ice cream soda is credited to Elizabeth as well. Today the city is home to residents from more than 50 countries and 37 language groups, making it one of the most genuinely diverse communities in New Jersey. The Port Newark-Elizabeth Marine Terminal is one of the nation’s busiest seaports, adjacent to Newark Liberty International Airport.
With 140,000+ residents, Elizabeth is by far the largest city in Union County and one of the most historically significant cities in American history. More than 56% of the city’s housing stock was built before 1960, with a median construction year of 1957. Two NJ Transit stations — Elizabeth Station on the Northeast Corridor and North Elizabeth Station on the NJ Coast Line — connect the city directly to New York Penn Station. The Mills at Jersey Gardens Mall welcomes more than 15 million visitors per year. We install Andersen replacement windows throughout all of Elizabeth. Every window is a genuine Andersen product, backed by Andersen’s warranty.
